Today, 8th March 2023, marks International Women’s Day 2023 (IWD), and as Ameropa joins many other organisations in celebrating this day with women across our industry, we are excited to announce that Ameropa has become a corporate member of WISTA Switzerland (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association).

With Ameropa’s diversity ambitions forming an integral part of our newly defined Sustainability strategy, we are committed to playing our part in achieving greater gender balance within our industry – and as such, WISTA is agreat partner for us.

Founded in 1974, WISTA is an international networking organization whose mission is to attract and support women, at the management level, in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors.  WISTA Switzerland was formed in 2009, and has chapters in Geneva and Zug/Zurich, and offers women in our industry networking and development opportunities via a series of regular events, conferences, seminars, webinars, socials and coaching sessions.
